PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND
Construction
John Price has worked both in private practice, with established chartered surveying practices, and for contractors, having spent some years "learning the job" as a project QS on varied work before joining one of the UK's largest contractors to specialise in tender and contract documentation.
Since 1979 he has specialised in advising on contractual matters, settling contentious final accounts and
dispute resolution.
He has been involved in and advised on a very wide range of building and civil engineering projects
- both throughout the UK and internationally.
Clients have included numerous contracting companies, specialist subcontractors, developers, public bodies,
lawyers and consultants. He was in partnership with a barrister up to the end of 1985 and then formed J E Price Associates.
